The BSAOC History?

The National Club Emblem

The BSA Owners Club or BSAOC is a one make club for BSA enthusiasts. The beginnings of the BSAOC was in 1958 when several one make clubs were set up around the country just interested in BSA motorcycles. By 1960 there were up to nine such clubs with a National Committee loosely linking them together. In 1961 the first issue of the Star magazine was published with an aim to join all the separate groups together. Early 1963 saw the formation of the BSAOC as it is known today, that is a series of individual groups and branches governed by one set of central rules set by the National Committee. Today there are over 15 groups/branches in the uk and around 13 affiliated branches world wide. The club has always promoted outdoor activities and has a full calendar of events every year. The main events are the field day which has run in one form or another since the early days and the international rally which is hosted in a different country every year.
